Course Objectives: RFI’s Dynamic Movement & Entry program is a 30 hour course designed to teach and develop the experienced shooter’s weapons handling skills needed in a tactical environment. The course emphasizes awareness and marksmanship while utilizing both a handgun and carbine. Shooters will cover target-focused shooting, CQC training, room entry, and movement techniques with and without a partner. After completion of the course, shooters will come away with the skills, mindset, and methodology necessary to win when confronted with a violent attack on the street or in their home.
This is a unique opportunity to work with Ranger Firearm Instruction on actual military ranges with an emphasis in CQC and movement techniques with and without a partner through open areas and within buildings. Students will also have the opportunity to incorporate multiple gun transition drills in the event your main gun goes down. Ranger Firearm Instruction prides itself on its military tradition, and strives to be a Leader in the state of Michigan when it comes to training of citizens and law-enforcement personnel. We promise to create an environment for students that mirror military and law-enforcement training, and a weekend unlike any other.
The course will be a balance of classroom lecture, shooting drills that directly reinforces the topics discussed. Students should expect to adopt sling supported and typical shooting positions as lesson purpose drills. The student should be self-sufficient with an ample water supply and snacks for the day.
